Pensiunea Vlahia Inn

⭐ 11/10 experience! Absolutely the best place to stay when visiting Moieciu. The hotel, presumably family-run, exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The interior décor feels like stepping into a 19th-century aristocratic country house, with antique wooden furniture and charming paintings. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, offering stunning views over the village and the slopes of Amfiteatrul. The location is perfect — peaceful yet convenient, with hiking trails and a small local shop just a short walk away. The restaurant was outstanding — the first time I’ve truly enjoyed dining in a hotel. Most dishes are homemade and locally sourced, both at dinner and breakfast. The vișinată was exceptional — the best we’ve had in Romania. A thoughtful vegan menu is also available. If we return for hiking, we’ll definitely stay here again! P.S. The family also has a friendly dog and two adorable cats. The cats might wander into the room to say hello — we loved it, but if you’re allergic, it’s best to inform reception.

The bathroom in our room also follows the 19th-century style, featuring a vintage-style bathtub instead of a standing shower. However, there was no glass partition to prevent splashing, so the floor flooded on the first night. The jacuzzi could also use a thorough deep clean — when we tried the massage function, it released some limescale. We emptied and refilled it, then used it simply as a regular bathtub.

Ne-a placut maxim, familie cu 2 copiii si 2 caini. Camerele superbe, cald, decoratiuni minunate peste tot in pensiune. Ceva deosebit. Gradina, pisicute si caini ai casei. Vedere de pe balcon superba. Parcare inclusa si gratuita. Micul dejun inclus si demential. Mancarea la restaurant minunata.

Este a doua oară când mergem la Vlahia Inn și a fost totul la superlativ. Locație super, micul dejun foarte bun, pâinea făcută de ei și limonada extraordinară. La fel și la cină a fost totul super bun. Recomand cu încredere

It’s very beautifully designed, it is extremely cozy and always offering a visual feast in every corner. It feels like a home and a luxury hotel in one. Staff were always friendly, breakfast was traditional and great, the rooms are nice enough.

The rooms are older than the lobby and restaurant. The bathtubs in the rooms are not great for showers. The bed in the VIP room is 1.4 m wide. It is extremely small and was very unconfortable for 2 people.
