Pensiunea Todorica Sergiu

I was traveling through Maramures to visit some of the beautiful, centuries-old wooden churches they have in the region. Ieud was one on my list as were Poienile Izei and Barsana, which are all very close to here. In any case, this lodging is located on the main road in Sieu, so was super-easy to find. They have a prominent sign out front near their gate if the GPS is failing. In any case, the owners are an extremely kind couple, willing to chat and share some palinka. From their backyard, one can "spy" on the neighbors who have sheep, cows, chickens, and a host of other livestock. I thought the room was super-comfortable, the adjoining bathroom was great, and I slept very soundly. There was plenty of space to car my rental car out back as well.

They were a "cash-only" location. Not a deal breaker. The host told me about an ATM in the town nearby so I was able to get some cash with little difficulty.

The host was super friendly, everything was clean and our stay was really nice
