Wild Pear Old Town boutique accommodation

Extremely comfortable apartment, our favorite out of 9 days in the Balkan! View was amazing and the apartment has all the basic you might need! Basic seasonings, welcome water and candies, oil, sugar, tea, coffee, … Shared washing machine with the other room with detergent and softener! Everything was really clean. Window seat was our favorite feature of the apartment, especially with the morning sunshine. Cash payment either in Euro or MKD

Checking in especially with the parking felt like an escape game but that was kind of fun! Everything is well explained though we wish the check in details would have been sent to us a day or 2 before arrival. Parking is located about 8 minutes walk from the apartment that is only accessible through stairs. You have to go retrieve the parking remote in a nearby location and put it back there when you check out.

Everything was just perfect, from the location, apartment, host which is so understanding and kind.

The apartment is up quite a few steps and slopes but the view from the window seat makes all the effort of getting up there with your luggage worthwhile! Smartly decorated with a small, adequately equipped kitchen and dining area and a lovely bathroom. The bedroom area had lots of cupboard space and a large window seat overlooking the lake. Parking is available around a 10 minute walk away and you need to stop and get the remote from a nearby building to access the parking area. All of the sites of Ohrid are within walking distance of the apartment as well as 2 supermarkets and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes.

It was a bit of a hassle for us old folk bumping suitcases and bags up the steep, cobbled streets but more something to be prepared for…. if you want the lovely views you just have to put up with it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Ohrid, and this apartment was a big part of the reason. Great location, super view right onto the harbor, excellent facilities, crystal clean. And Krste the host was always easily accessible, and gracious as well.
