My dream trip to Mongolia was unfortunately overshadowed by my experience at Gana's Guest House and the unprofessional attitude of the owner. Before arrival, I specifically requested a comfortable room with a nice view. I was told that rooms with better views cost more, and I replied that I would like to see the available options before deciding. Instead, I was allocated a room whose window faced a sheet of corrugated metal. Several messages I sent beforehand, including questions about transport to the guest house, were ignored. My flight connection from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar was disrupted, leaving me stranded at the airport for over 24 hours. Despite repeatedly trying to contact the guest house by WhatsApp , tel calls,email o explain my situation and request cancellation of the first night, eight messages went unanswered. When I finally arrived, exhausted after a difficult journey, there was nobody who spoke English. After eventually speaking with someone on the phone who appeared to be the owner or manager, I raised the issue of my unanswered messages and asked whether a discount could be offered if I extended my stay, as there would be no Booking.com commission involved. Instead of discussing the matter professionally, he became rude and told me to leave and called me liar and denied all the calls that I made.secondstaff member then attempted to charge me using an exchange rate higher than those offered by banks or exchange offices, and also tried to add an extra commission fee then I refused, I was told my reservation would be cancelled and reported as a "no-show." After more than a year of travelling around the world, this was one of the most unpleasant accommodation experiences I have encountered. The property itself is dated and run-down, and the customer service was extremely disappointing. I left the following day and moved to another hotel that was slightly more expensive but far more comfortable, modern, and welcoming.

I have shown the staff all my message history also the several calls by the staff from tourist office in the city that he has denied. I am sure he is the type of person that will denies all these issues.

Location

The road in front of the guesthouse is a bad condition.

Les propriétaires sont très gentils et là questions est très bien située à 15 minutes à pied de la place principale

Emplacement central, prix modique, grande douche chaude et propre et la propriétaire qui parle bien anglais fait tout pour vous aider et vous renseigner. Mieux que j'espérais.
