Ganas guesthouse is great for the money. The basic rooms are comfortable and spacious. Gana was so helpful during our stay which is what makes this place wonderful. He arranged a 4 day tour for us at short notice which was brilliant. Bold, our driver, was knowledgable and kind and we saw some incredible sights, staying in Gers and meeting local people. Gana also helped us with airport transfers and offers a laundry service.

Rooms could be cleaner

Красная цена этого скворечника 800 1000иуб. Искать пришлось долго. Навигатор привел буддийскому храму. Оттуда до хостела 150м. Попросил девчонок местных попросить позвонить хозяину где находиться этот хостел. Мог бы выйти и забрать меня чего не соизволил. Пришлось долго плутать. Не вздумайте туда заехать на машине потом не введите. Узкая дорога разбиты весь в торчащих камнях. Оставьте лучше в храме у меня там и стоял 2 дня. Чуть дальше есть ещё один храм 500м там огромная территория оставить можете там никто его не тронет. Они не закрываются. Вид да из крыши открывается шикарный. Вода из крана течет слабо вода уходит в канализацию тоже слабо Это контейка 2х3м для одного человека. Двое там не уместиться.

Initally coming from Sukhbaatar square, and being a first timer in Mongolia, I was kind of scared to see the neighborhood, but my fears quickly vanished. Mr. Gana and staff are kind and attentive. Place is relatively close to the center area, I chose to walk everywhere. Stayed in the double bed room, bed was comfy, and room had plenty of space to unpack. It looks rough at first, but everything worked. Refrigerator is on the first floor and can be used by everyone. Has a terrace on 2nd floor that's connected to the double rooms and gers. People sometimes did bbq, me and other smokers just chilled, while taking in the beautiful view of the city (especially at night). There are CU's, other convenience stores (remember, you can't buy hard liquor after 00.00, but beer is fine), cheap bazaarish shopping buildings and many restaurants in the area. There are bunch of tour options, I tried one, it was fine. Honestly, for these prices, couldn't really complain.
