The Sahara Garden that I stayed is truly not just a Hotel, it is like a premium resort right in the Dunes of Sahara Desert and natural Oasis. It has amenities like multiple restaurants, swimming pool, sit down locations, options to rent Jeep or 4x4 vehicles and rent quads etc. The food(lunch/dinner) was great as well as breakfast. A must place to visit in a secluded area of Morocco. The only thing that I think they can add is a soap/shampoo holder in the shower room.

The setting is really nice and a swimming pool in the desert must be the ultimate luxury. Dinner was good.

We booked here for the airconditioned rooms because there was a heat wave. Upon arrival we were told that the aircon didn’t always work and we could instead stay in the tents. Tents were cheaper than rooms on Booking.com but we were told we had to pay €90 extra. We decided to stay in the rooms which were like an oven so we didn’t sleep well. There were 2 dead cockroaches in the bathroom. There was also some hard selling of local tours. They even tried to convince us that our new Toyota Landcruiser was unsuitable for a trip into the desert. When I told him we’d done the same trip several times they kept on trying and eventually said that we should let the locals earn some money! This hotel is popular with many tour groups so it can be a bit lively.

Fantastic location. Great view of the dunes from the room terrace. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly welcome and helpful staff.

Although in general the hotel was clean, a little more attention to detail would be good. For, example the leaking toilet and dripping tap. Also, we stayed 2 nights , our room and the hotel complex were not cleaned in this time. The women's toilets next to the restaurant still hadn't been cleaned from the night before at 2pm the next day. Maybe it was because there was a bank holiday.
