Casa Grai Moroșănesc

The house is very beautiful. Simple, elegant, modest. The rooms are very nicely decorated with local theme textiles. Dinner was incredibly delicious; we had a carafe of wine, horinca, ciorba de perisoare, smoked and fried assortments of meats with mamaliguta, home made deserts... I felt like visiting friends for holidays. The hosts are welcoming, polite and extremely generous; not only we were welcomed with some nice local home made horinca and afinata, but we also tasted the amazing meat from the smoker, and upon departure, they didn't let us leave without a half liter of their home made horinca, which my dad loved when I brought it to him. The hosts also took the time to talk to us. We were not treated like strangers, or strictly guests. We were treated like old friends, and that was such a warm surprise. The village is gorgeous. The house is located on a street without asphalt, and it looks incredible; I think Christmas there will be magical, especially with the lack of traffic. We went walking and exploring the village, and visited the 15th century wooden church, as well as mingled with the locals at 2 different establishments, and had beers with them. Everything exceeded our expectations to such a degree that I have decided to return for Christmas, this time with the entire family and spend Christmas in that village, staying at the same house.

The room was super warm when we arrived; the radiators were on full blast. No issue there, we opened the windows to cool down the room.

Daca ajungeti vreodata in Breb,trebuie sa mergeti la Grai Morosanesc!!!Absolut sublim!Cea mai buna mancare pe care am mâncat-o vreodata,horinca la discretie,camere curate si foarte bine îngrijite iar gazdele de milioane!!Cu siguranță voi reveni cu cel mai mare drag si voi recomanda acesti oameni minunați tuturor cunoscuților si necunoscuților!

Excellent stay and hosts! The food is amazing! And great environment to meet other guests. Would absolutely return! One of the highlights of our trip in Romania! Don’t miss out!

It was all perfect!

Estuvimos muy bien. Una familia muy amable y la mejor sopa que nos comimos durante nuestro viaje por Rumanía. Recomendamos aprovechar y cenar y desayunar con ellos.

Gran amabilidad por parte de la familia. Incluso se levantaron para darnos unos bollos y café para el desayuno. Habitación limpia y acogedora.
