Pensjonat Retro

Very well located accommodation if you are on your way to or from Europe. The rooms are clean, modern and of sufficient size. Car parking is right in front of the door. Laundry facilities are very good. WiFi worked super well. Very tasty food in the restaurant and good service. I would definitely stay here again!

The TV in our room didn't work. Apparently there was a problem with the TV remote. We asked to change the batteries, which the staff did, but the remote still didn't work. We informed the staff about it, but no solution was offered. So we had to spend the entire afternoon, evening, and morning in silence without a TV.

Good parking in the yard, very good food in the restaurant. The portions were huge. The room was small, but you don't need anything bigger for one night. Everything you needed was there. There was also drinking water in the room. The breakfast was very good and there was a lot of choice.

breakfast was really delicious and there was a huge variety of food. the staff was super friendly and always helpful. the hotel is in general quite pretty and well-designed. the room was also very spacious. there are lots of parking spots which is very convenient when you travel with a car. the restaurant was great, we ordered some meals to-go and all of them were delicious. a big plus for kids corner in the restaurant

even though the bedroom was spacious, the bed was quite small for a couple. it‘s rather for 1,5 people, not 2 grown-ups, especially grown-ups who sleep with a baby. there was very poor air circulation in the room and we had to have our windows open all the time as it was difficult to breathe. and it smelled like wet laundry in the room for some reason. but the absolute worse was the fact that there are no curtains nor anything that blocks the light; only some office blinds that put through all the light. we stayed in the hotel in June, and on the 1st night it was bright in the room (room #27) until 22, especially that the room is facing west so we had sunlight directly facing us. and it got bright again right after 4AM... during night we could see street lights and some flashy billboards so we barely slept, not to mention that we had huge difficulties putting our baby to sleep. we had to do that in the bathroom, as it was one and only dark place I the room but definitely not the most convenient. we reported that to the girls on the reception and wrote a message on booking, but there was no response. we raised it to booking.com then and they said that the owners didn‘t care and disagreed with our case. I‘d like to mention that the photos on the listing are completely misleading, as there are no photos of our room presenting the windows, but on the general listing we saw many pictures presenting rooms with dark black out curtains so we thought this is what we‘d expect in our room. as for the bathroom, the shower was leaking al the time so we had water on the floor. we had to put half of our towels on the floor so we didn‘t slip on the wet floor...
