I wanted accomodation near the train and busstation Campanhã. That was perfenct. The accomodation looked new and very beautifully furnishes. The airco was ok, the bed was good, the linnen beautiful. There was fresh water in the fridge. The instructions were very clear and contact with the administrator easy.

I would advise to put some kind of coloured poster on the outside fence, because from outside it looks ugly and degradated. That is actually a pitty.

The room and shared spaces were clean, but I didn’t like the location of the property. The bed was not very comfortable, but the host was responsive and friendly.

I didn’t like the area which looked abandoned, but the building itself was renovated and clean.

The location, very close to the TIC train/bus station. The room was clean and comfortable. It also has a nice kitchen if you feel like cooking

Not the nicest neighborhood and very narrow walkways very very loud and busy traffic. The only reason we stayed there was to be close to the bus station. The unit itself was clean and very small rooms but very clean. The host was never seen but did communicate rapidly through WhatsApp. No place to store luggage. It was not described very well that you are renting the individual rooms so you share a common area and share the refrigerator

Not a very nice neighborhood and the area was under pretty bad disrepair. Once you got through the gate it was clean but very old.

Great room and en-suite - brilliant shower! Monica has provided a small kitchen and social space - which we used. It’s good to meet other travellers and share stories. We didn’t have time to sit outside but the small patio would be useful for those staying longer. It’s a well organised and very clean property. With just three rooms it’s was quiet and peaceful, despite the busy road outside. Monica’s directions and communications before the stay were very helpful. And Casa d’Avo is only 7 mins from Porto Campanhã station - there is a rear entrance/ exit.

Casa d’Avo is on a busy and fairly narrow road, which initially is a bit alarming. The pavement is narrow too. Some neighbouring properties are run down or empty. However, we felt safe and had no problems at all. Approaching the property from the river we could see that the area is developing, with large residential blocks close by.
