Great for one week working from Lagos. I had been in the blue room from second day with a (small) bathroom accessible directly from the room (there are other rooms with own bathroom, but on the floor. ) Very helpful for working: table in the room, fast Internet over WiFi (just 3 -4 short interruptions within 5 full working days), having a fridge, a microwave and plates, mugs and cutlery. Heating available in the room. Many facilities like backery, shop, croissanteria for breakfast & lunch at reasonable prices. And located in the middle of the town to have done walks after work to the beaches. Very friendly and caring owner 🤗

Just at day one: room with a very small table and bath on the floor, but I could switch at day 2.

Have stayed a few times, and Lalitana has always been great, relaxing experience. Perfect for what I needed. Great location too in lovely Lagos, which I always want to come back to!

The ventilation in the bathroom was full of dust, when it was turned on everything smelled of dust and the towels picked up that smell.

The location, closely adjacent to the castle,beach, and shops. The bus station was 10 minutes away. The room was clean and pretty quiet and had a tv. I met the proprietor briefly and she seemed very pleasant. My room being on the ground floor, there was a back door with a tiny yard, which would be useful for smokers (I'm not). There were 2 table lamps were available ( essential for me) though one of them flickered, and a handy booklet for guests with information about local transport/ amenities /activities.

No breakfast, fridge or safe. (Not dealbreakers,but appreciated. A kettle and teabags were available for refreshments in the foyer however.) All the hotel's rooms displayed on Booking. Com are brightly painted, light and pleasant with window views and terraces? I must've drawn the short straw.My room, in comparison, was rather drab and dim- light was only provided by a window above the back door and small window panels ,none of which were sufficient to provide adequate light. There being no regular window,I had to leave the back door open for ventilation,opening on to the tiny yard. The room/ bedding felt damp-and there was a musty smell emanating from the shower. Something in the room also bit me at night. After examining the mattress, I don't think it was bedbugs, presumably mosquitoes, but who knows? These factors brought the property down to a 6.
