Nice house, warm welcome

The house is in a very peaceful street and Aroeira in general is a wonderful place, very tranquil and close to the beach. The instructions for self check-in were clear and Magg answered my messages very quickly. The house is vibey and has a pool, speakers outside, an outdoor table and many other things to enjoy your stay. Would definitely reccomend!

The room is next to the entrance with zero privacy

We booked a private room with private bathroom. The second day when we got from the beach there were people in our beedroom using our bathroom!!!!!!!!!! We had our personal belongings inside and someone gave the keys to them. We were shocked, so we left the place and book a room in another place. The pics also look much better than reality shows. The host appologied but this is a huge incident. We will never come back again.

Area outside was quiet. The lady working there was friendly.

I don’t understand how this place can have a high rating. The place is like junk yard. Not in a good way. The room I was put in was a shambles, had no door handle(!) and smelled of feet. I had booked a double room based on the pictures on the platform (mainly expecting a comfortable double bed). When I arrived, the lady told me the room is not available (if it's not available don't sell it!) and offered me a “equal room”. It looked nothing like the standard promised on the pictures. I attached my picture. Have a look for yourself. For me this is a case of false advertising. The room had a DIY monster of a bunkbed thing with screws sticking out and the top bunk too low that when you wake up you would whack your head. If you actually manage to sleep in it, that is. The double mattress is thrown over the lower frame with results in the bar is bulking up the mattress in the middle… and there is no way you can lay on it straight if you are an adult. I had to sleep in the upper bunk bed…. but paying for a double room! I find the prices in general for this place outrages. The place is not maintained. The toilet seat was taped (seriously!), the bidget was not screwed into the floor, broken hocks, smears and holes in all the walls, electricity sockets dangling dangerously. Don’t stay here! I would have preferred sleeping on the beach if would have not already paid for the room.

Everything was perfect ! It felt like home from the beggining to the end. Everyone were so nice, so welcomming, it was a real pleasure !

amazing cute place! we spent 2 nights here and espescially loved the beds: it’s a hostel with double beds! yes you heard right: 4 double beds as bunk beds in our room, all secluded by a roller blind! great! our host was super friendly, we enjoyed the pool! knives were sharp - kitchen great to cook in!

please add some more bowls to your kitchen equipment :)
