Imimangaliso Guest House

Nothing at all, the worst place one could ever sleep at. I wouldn't even put my pigs into such a house.

Everything. The place was dirty, filthy. The furniture very old, dusty shows no one cleans them. The linen was also dirty not much effort was put to ensure it clean. The place was so noisy as if it was a shabeen, even at 4am people are making so much notice. The shower was even more dirty, with plastic bathroom mat was so dirty torn and sticky with sludge. The bathroom cupboard were damaged by the water and looked so bad. The plastic shower curtain was old and dirty. Lastly all the photos are from 2020 and dot depict the real state of affairs.

I liked the area

It was difficult to find the street then out first night as a couple was in a cramped room where shower looked squeezed in. I requested to change room after 1st night as it was very claustrophobic. Changed the second night to another room, though it was more spacious but shower would flood the floor of the bathroom and didn't look very clean.

The room was too small and there wasn't enough space to move around. Some people were very noisy in evening and morning.

It was very unprofessional how staff dealt with us. We were not told about check out time but instead they complained that we checked out late. But it was 11:00 am when we were leaving
