Mango House Japanese Guest House

お掃除が天井まで行き届いていてびっくりした。 よく手入れされた庭で、きれいな鳥や蛍が見れた。 オーナーがとても誠実で頼れる人だった。 「道中、何かあったら連絡してね」とチェックアウトの時に言われて、今回の旅で特に困ることはなかったんだけど、この一言がお守りみたいで頼もしかった。 ドライバーさんもここで手配してもらった。良心的な値段だった。親切なドライバーさんで、とてもいい旅行になった。 できることならここにあと何泊かして過ごしたかった。 ヘリタンスカンダラマより私は好き。こんな家に住みたい。

A beautiful accommodation with many small and large details that made our stay unique. Kenneth took very good care of us and was present but not intrusive. A truly loving and committed person. I would like to recommend this special accommodation to everyone. I would immediately stay again for at least a week.

Regretfully we were not able to stay here, but we wanted to highly compliment the owner who graciously refunded our prepayment when we had to cancel at the last minute due to the hostilities in the Middle East. He was under no obligation to do that, and we very much appreciate it. We were (and still are) stuck in Doha and completely unable to travel to Sri Lanka at this time, but we do hope to travel there sometime in the future and will surely try to reserve again with the Mango House.

I was very pleased with my stay. The owner was very friendly. The breakfast was great and value for money is second to none. It is just the relaxing stay we needed after a flight.

Quick and helpful communication from Kenneth the owner, from the start. The entire garden surrounding the guesthouse is lovingly maintained. Mangos trees everywhere! Beautiful gardens and rooms. Free Water available for refilling your drink bottle. The rooms themselves and the dining area and pool were absolutely spotless. Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. The curry dinner was delicious with all the sides, the breakfast was simple but tasty. The owner even made my daughter her favourite noodles on request. The owner also organised for our stay ( on request) a spa treatment, tuk tuk transport, and our airport transport. A peaceful stay in a busy part of the world. The pool is clean and refreshing after a hot day. And the fireflies!!! Ask about the fireflies :) a great joy for us to see in the garden. Would stay again without hesitation. 20 mins from the airport, but no airport noise.
