Very nice people, room was clean and its close to the beach

I had a lovely stay at Welcome Family Guest House. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they were already waiting for me when I arrived, which made me feel immediately at home. Throughout my stay I felt that they cared about their guests and wanted to make sure everything was good for me. They shared many helpful tips and recommendations about traveling in Sri Lanka and gave useful advice about practical things as well. From the beginning to the end, the atmosphere was warm, friendly and genuine. I can warmly recommend Welcome Family Guest House to anyone visiting the area. Mooie locatie, dichtbij zee. De mensen zijn vriendelijk en willen je graag helpen. De kamers zijn schoon, met een fijne warme douche!

If you are visiting Bentota, Welcome Family Guest House is highly recommended. It’s tucked away but in a perfect location—very close to the beach and just a short trip to Turtle Point and the River Boat Safari starting points. Highlights of my stay: The Atmosphere: Clean, comfortable rooms that felt like a home away from home. The Food: Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight. The Host: Incredibly kind and more than happy to accommodate our ad-hoc requests. It’s the ideal place for anyone who wants a personal touch and easy access to Bentota’s best spots. I will definitely be visiting again! :)

Nothing to complain about.

Bardzo mili i pomocni ludzie. Ale naprawdę. Podpowiedzieli w kwestii transportu, gdy przyjechaliśmy to poczęstowali pyszną kawą, bo pokój nie był jeszcze gotowy (ale jeszcze nie musiał być, byliśmy przed godziną meldowania). Bardzo pyszne śniadanie. Lokalizacja także znakomita - blisko do plaży i na stację kolejową. Obok znajduje się przyzwoita knajpka, gdzie można dobrze zjeść i wypić piwko.

Good, clean rooms with a homely atmosphere. The breakfast is simple and homemade rather than a luxury spread, but it’s quite good. One of the best places for the price.

Basic amenities are not kept in the room and you need to ask for them, which is a bit inconvenient and could be improved. However, the staff will provide whatever you need if requested.

Die Besitzer waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich und die Umgebung ruhig. Ich komme gerne mal wieder vorbei.

Ich hatte mit den Moskitos im Raum zu kämpfen, am zweiten Tag haben sie dann mit Spray nachgeholfen. Das half...
