The place is clean and neat. The host was very helpful and organised.

Good location nd very quiet with excellent breakfast.

Wifi was really poor.

I loved everything. The host was very nice and friendly. I checked in late, but she was very patient with me. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was friendly, and willing to assist you with anything. The room was spacious, the yard was clean with beautiful garden. I will definitely come back. I recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation around King Williams Town 😅👌🏾

The place is highly rated on booking.com and I noted had a 4-star rating, being the reason why I booked there. However, I stay at least twice a month in guest houses / hotels and this one definitely didn't meet the expectation, also taking into consideration what I paid. Below I only mention some of the issues. On checking-in I had to pay another R10 with my credit card and according to the lady this was necessary to confirm the booking, although payment was already made and indicate as such. This was never a requirement at any place before and took some time. There was severe damp damage and a crack in the bathroom. Only liquid soap dispensers against the wall were provide, the one at the basin didn't work. Water in the fridge was poured in an old plastic container. The carpet in the room was dirty and there was a hair in my bed, although I saw the cleaner wearing a headcloth. Before I left, I went to reception twice, but the door (I got an outside room) was locked. I rang the bell, but nobody came. Breakfast is served across the street at another guesthouse and I have decided to, based on the experience I had that far not to have breakfast there.
