Hat öfter nach Rauch (es wurde in der Nähe viel verbrannt) gestunken. Man hört die Lautstärke des Flughafens, bzw. der startenden und landenden Flugzeuge doch sehr.

Para llegar es un poco complicado

One of the best mattresses and beds I had ever had in a staying on the road. Absolutely recommend. The staff was very kind and helpful, the place was clean, few furniture which I love, but the bed was huge and super comfortable. It's quite close to the airport but you need a taxi unfortunately (~12€).

The breakfast view was amazing, but the food few 😅 i wish they had more variety and especially something traditional. But super clean otherwise. Not too bad.

Établissement autonome nous avons reçu les codes 72h avant notre arrivée. Il faut prendre " la main" pour ouvrir la porte mais quand on a compris cela est fluide. L'établissement dispose d'un distributeur de friandise et de café : trés bien en cas de besoin. L'hôte réponds facilement aux questions et est réactive à nos besoins. Nous avons beneficié d'une box petit déjeuné à emporter car nous quittions l'hôtel à 4h30. Nous avions une chambre à l'étage 1 avec une vue incroyable sur l'océan, l'aéroport et la pointe Est de l'île , le tout avec balcon equipée d'une moustiquaire ! Malgré une proximité avec l'aéroport nous n'avons rien entendu une fois la baie vitrée fermée. La literie est confortable ( gros gros gros plus) les équipements trés bien, salle de bain correct. L'établissement se trouve à 5 min en voiture de l'aéroport. A l'accueil se trouve numero de taxi et tarifs si besoin. Place de parking pour stationnement devant l'établissement. Nous avons pris cet établissement la veille de notre départ par rapport à sa proximité avec l'aeroport mais nous aurions pu y passer plusieurs jours sans problème. Je recommande.

Malheureusement des personnes sont arrivées à 2h du matin et on fait énormement de bruits ( chambre juxtaposée) avec d'énormes bavardages. Elles n'ont pas été respectueuses mais l'établissement n'y est pour rien.

We expected budget hotel close to the airport - but AL Moniz exceeded our expectations. Starting with a very easy self-check-in via door code, so that you can check-in in the middle of the night if your flight arrives late. Balcony door had a net so that you can let fresh air in - but not mosquitos (not many hotels have such nets). And cherry on the cake was the breakfast: it's not standard "continental muesli plus milk" but rather proper food including meat and wide choice of sweets. So breakfast is really worth paying for. Room wasn't huge - but it was clean and had everything you need for an overnight stay. Taking into account proximity to the airport this is great deal overall. Would definitely stay again - THANK YOU!

Bed wasn't huge - but it was ok. Even though it is close to the airport, it's better to take taxi FROM the airport (about 6 euros) because it goes uphill. Going TO the airport is much easier as it is downhill.
