Private parking for the bike, nice terrace for dinner/ breakfast, good food for dinner. I wanted an early breakfast and they had someone coming earlier just for me

"Good location for bear tour and walk into centre of town but underwhelming stay"

Clean room, seemed recently refurbished (except bathroom), location. Smart bar and restaurant - much nicer than upstairs. Bear watching trip sole reason we visited - highly recommend!

Kids bed was really uncomfortable for our 15 year old (she complained each night), door missing on shower so bathroom had to be mopped each time used, v basic facilities in room, v basic breakfast (sliced white bread, ham and cheese), restaurant shut on Monday night when we planned to eat at the hotel which was a bit annoying but not a disaster (pizzas are meant to be v good). Hostel Bearlog where we started our bear tour looked nicer but we couldn’t get a room which didn’t have a shared bathroom alas

Wry clean and comfortable. Kind personal.

A 3 years anniversary of the restaurant was celebrated during our stay, which we were not informed about. The music was extremely loud, no conversation possible during dinner, and no possibility to sleep quietly
