Wonderful stay in the very quiet and charming village of Srednja vas, just 10 minutes by car from the busy resort area of Bohinj. Loved the authentic farmhouse (house and barn attached). Easy access by car and foot to many trail heads. Small but adequate room with balcony. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent and inexpensive restaurants within less than a 10 minute walk. Our warm and friendly conversations with Janja really enhanced our visit to this part of Slovenia. One of our favorite places during a two month journey.

Above expectations

Our stay was perfect! The apartment was spacious, beautifully designed, and very well-equipped. The location was a dream – close to the lake, ski slopes, and fantastic hiking trails. The area is nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by stunning mountains, making it the perfect retreat for anyone who loves the outdoors ⛰️ It’s also conveniently located not far from the capital city. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome: a bottle of wine, a charming Christmas tree, and New Year’s champagne to celebrate the festive season. Everything was carefully planned to make our stay special 💖 The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The quality of the apartment was great, and the value for money was even better. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for an unforgettable experience in such a magical location 🌟

Very comfortable bed, nice view from the balcony, and very friendly host. 🙂

The apartment was very equipped with a mini kitchenette. The host provided amenities like shampoo and towels for us to use during the stay. There was a local shop nearby to purchase some groceries. The host was very responsive to our questions and accommodating to our request.

The apartment was beside the road therefore at night if the windows are open, you would be able to hear the noises from the cars passing by.

Janja is very kind and helpful. The apartment is clean and well equipped, the neighborhood is wonderful.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay a few more days!!!

Close to local bus route which gave you easy access to all the sights and hikes in the area. 3 wonderful restaurants in walking distance. Situated in a lovely small village that gave you the full experience of been in an authentic working farm village.

Janja is an exceptionally great host who gave us a lot of local recommendations and is just a very friendly and kind person overall, we therefore felt right at home. We were especially grateful we got an upgrade to stay in the apartment with a kitchen. The apartment is located in a very quaint little village which is way nicer than staying in Bohinj in my opinion. It is also located close to Mostnica gorge and only a short drive to Viševnik, so overall it’s a great place to base yourself if you want to go for a few hikes.

The only downside to the apartment is that it can get a little noisy in the morning because the stairs are a little squeaky.
