As soon as we arrived our host was wonderful and attentive giving us recommendations for nearby hikes. The location is fantastic, 5 minutes walk from the lake, and in a quiet end of the lake which we loved. The breakfast was amazing. Fresh cooked bread and croissants every morning, with different delicious smoothies, and cakes each day, it made us feel like we were on a 7 star wellness retreat! We also enjoyed the hot tub, and also the drinks area where you could help yourself to tea, coffee and hot chocolate, and a well stocked drinks fridge where you could pay for what you wanted (including delicious Slovenia beers!). They also have a 4 month old puppy called choppi who we fell in love with! Couldn’t recommend highly enough. We will be back!

This place was absolutely amazing, the owners were just lovely. The position was fantastic, accommodation was just perfect. Breakfast was outstanding. Perfectly clean & beds comfortable. Would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. The breakfast was phenomenal, all homemade and fresh. The hosts (and their dogs) were lovely. Very well equipped with use of bikes, kayak, paddleboards, sauna and jacuzzi. Parking provided at the property and is a great base to explore the area. We had a lovely few days. Our room was very clean with comfy bed.

The walls are quite thin between the rooms. A fan or air conditioning would be really helpful when it’s hot.

Hisa Erlah was an excellent place to stay. Our room was comfortable with a lovely big bed and beautiful balcony. The views were spectacular. The breakfast was incredible and extremely generous. The owners were extremely helpful and gave excellent advice about activities, restaurants and hikes. We were able to borrow a double kayak from the host to enjoy the beautiful lake. We absolutely recommend this place and hope to return.

This family run place is truly special. The location is wonderful and an easy walk to the lake. The breakfasts are delicious and I appreciated the loose black tea! The little details are taken care of here and it's a lovely place to stay.
