The hotel is a beautiful old home in a good location - five minutes from the beach and absolutely silent. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good pressure shower (only cold water but you don't need hot in the climate). There's beautiful big garden and WiFi was fine for Sri Lanka.

We paid extra for breakfast and it didn't feel great value compared to our other stays - just hoppers, sambal and pineapple, juice and tea. We wouldn't have chosen to include it if we'd known. The room had a wall mounted fan but was incredibly hot. We needed to stay indoors during midday to keep out of the sun and it was stifling inside the room.
