Suan Residence - Exotic and Contemporary Bungalows with Private Pool

The location of this resort is simply amazing. What a lovely place of peace. You can enjoy the silence between the beautiful nature. All is very lovely decorated and the hosts are very friendly and helpful if you need anything. Highly recommend !

Suan Residence is a beautiful and well-cared for resort. The bungalows and furnishing are very contemporary and the landscaping and gardens are very photogenic as well. I chose this resort as I wanted somewhere close to Rittisak Muay Thai gym in Chaloklum village but also to have somewhere peaceful to relax between training sessions and the Suan Residence definitely offered this. The private pool is great to relax-in and the bungalow is also equipped with kitchen appliances for convenience. Personally, I was unfortunate to fall unwell during my stay (not due to the resort but overtraining), such is the way, but If I was going to fall unwell then it's best done in a place like this! The owners really care for the environment and respect the island- they have a wonderful irrigation system that provides fresh and drinkable water which is very convenient. Chaloklum village is also 5 - 10 minutes down the road and is a wonderful beach to relax and go for a swim.

The layout was great, and the owners were very kind and extremely helpful. It's a lovely and quiet location, but still a short walk into the village / to the beach.

The seating outside was not uncomfortable, even though it looks good, and the pillows on the bed were not good.

Veronique and her family really put their heart into this project as well as caring for the island, from the water filtration systems providing everyone staying here, with fresh drinking water to taking care of the environment by separately collecting recyclable trash as well as keeping the property grounds in good shape and order. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

everything was great

all is good when there are no problems. one day there was a power shortage and there was no water. we asked if they can provide a solution and they have send us to the supermarket to buy some water. i want to mention that there was no water to flush the toilet , wash hands or drink. we have bought water at the supermarket to do so

1. towels and bed linnen are not changed during your stay 2. there is only one towel per person (no small towels). you can get beach towel if you ask for it 3. they are not responsive (our messages on booking have been left unanswered) 4. during our stay (3 days), 2 days was without internet. one day a power shortage another day the owners where not at the facility so they were not able to fix it for tge whole afternoon and night (we were working online for europe and it was exactly the working hours) its more a place for people who dont want to be disturbed but also dont have much of the customer service expectations. by 80 Eur you can get a bungalow where the lines are changed and stuff is responsive and acocmodating

We were picked up directly at the pier, so the arrival was very relaxed and we were extremely warmly welcomed by the owner. The individual bungalows are very quietly located, have a small, private pool and the large veranda (with kitchen) expand the living space significantly. Within 5 to 10 minutes you walk to the village center or to the beach, where you can find restaurants and everything else. If you want to rent scooters, we would recommend Kung Bike rental and repair. The store is run by a friendly Dutchman and the daily rental is 200 Bath per scooter.
