"Feels like home!! Best place to stay in Koh Lanta"

10.0

Felt like home!! Clean, cozy, peacefull, showers worked perfectly, honestly 10/10. Staff always available to reach out and super nice. Bed is extremely comfortable, and the location at the old town, 5mins away from the pier, with the sound of the waves makes it perfect.

The Guesthouse is very nice, everything is very clean and the bed is super confy. It is nice to have a kitchen where to cook. I didn't meet the owner unfortunately but he was very friendly on the phone. The location is a bit out of where everything happens, in a quiet street, but I liked it more than staying on the other coast where there are only turistic places

It would be nice to have few more things in the kitchen (like oil and spices for everyone, scissor, some smaller knives), it would make it easier to cook even if you spend just few nights.

Hidden gem in the Lanta Old Town area, surrounded by water and nature offering good sized rooms, with quirky design making you feel right at home. The host was great to communicate all the time and made sure their guest was having a seamless stay.

"Clothing got stolen, Cat Bite on the property, expensive Rabies vaccine"

1.0

Sharing again the same experience: Our worse experience was that my boyfriend got bitten by one of the cats of the neighbors. Another couple was also bitten on the same day. We went together to the Clinic and had to pay 20.000 Thai Baht for the Rabies vaccine plus Tetanus shot plus Antibiotics. By Thai Law the owner of the cat is responsible to pay for the treatment, as we got the Police involved - but the owner of the guest house contacted the neighbors and made sure, they hide the Cat until we depart. The owners of the Guest House are never there - she is an American lady & said she’s out of the island but I think they don’t even live there & the cleaning lady basically spends the whole day there & does the cleaning. When the incident happened, we approached the owner to find out who the cat belongs to, as we should monitor its behavior closely to ensure it doesn’t have potentially Rabies or other dangerous infections. But they were busy pretending they don’t know who owns the cat. That weird - the British lady that works in this animal shelter came one day after the cat bite. She went to the cat and fed it and gave it water - and she seemed very familiar with that cat. How come she works in that animal care center and doesn’t know the neighborhood cats, that hang around there every day during our first week in Koh Lanta. This British elderly lady just said “Please don’t give a bad review of the Guest House.” Further my clothing got stolen after washing it and letting it dry in the shared area. The same happened to other travelers in the guest house a few days before they told us. (That’s not the owners fault, it was stolen by another tourist, it’s my own fault I know, for letting it dry in the shared space.) Overall a bad experience and very irresponsible behavior, that’s why I wouldn’t recommend staying there - especially surrounded by all this street cats, street dogs, other animals.

"Clothing got stolen, Cat Bite - expensive Rabies vaccine, wouldn’t recommend."

1.0

The rooms were clean, but the shared bathrooms weren’t. Full of sand from other people showering and very thin walls in the rooms - you hear everything and the previous reviews were true: there’s an animal shelter's around the corner and the animals really make loud noises the whole night. It started at 3 AM already.

"Muy buena relacion calidad precio, buenas instalaciones y buena limpieza"

8.0
