Pinks Bungalow

We booked Pinks last minute and we loved our stay! The bungalows were basic but clean and ideal being right on the beach front. It’s super handy walking straight from your room to the beach and plenty to see around the area. 7/11 a few minutes up the road. Pinks and her staff are also so lovely and the food and drinks at the restaurant are really good! For the price it’s an absolute steal!

It’s a great value for money. It is the lowest price you can find for the value it provides. It is oceanfront. It has a restaurant and laundry service and friendly staff. Fan rooms are doable since you don’t stay there during daytime. With that being said there is just one thing to note ( at the time of this writing). The toilets don’t come with flush knob. So, you must do the old fashioned way ( fill a bucket and flush) which is doable once you get used to it. They have tenants that’ve lived there for months. They provide tp’s. 😁👍. Their fruit shakes are pretty good as well. 👍 And within 3 min walk is 7/11, cafes, fried chicken place and intersection to take the local transport anywhere on the island. Great value for money.

The place has lots of potential and it sounds like it used to be a nice place to stay but at the moment it's a bit run down and needs work. The staff doing cleaning and check-ins were refugees from Myanmar and didn't speak much English however they were lovely people. The food in the restaurant was always delicious and very reasonably priced. Don't expect much from the rooms they are very small and basic and some things don't work as they should but it was cosy and a quiet place.

The beach outside the rooms is only really swimmable in the morning as the tide goes out and it's ankle deep for a few hundred meters. The owner walked around yelling in Thai all the time and I saw a few altercations with guests who weren't happy with their rooms but if you were nice to her and when she wasn't stressed she seemed like a fun person. The place just needs some work and some training for the staff and it would be a very comfortable place to stay

ATTENTION: THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM!!!! If you want to live in a dump, then this is the right place for you. The accommodation doesn't match the pictures at all. There isn't even a flush for the toilet. You have to do it yourself with a bucket of water. The accommodation, the room, is absolutely filthy. The bedding stinks. There are pests in the room. Everything is dirty. We tried to talk to the owner calmly. But this woman is just sick. We were fooled. We were told the boss wasn't there, even though she was. We had to wait for three hours to find out that she was the boss herself. Afterwards, we also found out that this woman had been in prison before and sold drugs. So if you want to risk your life, then this accommodation is just right for you.

Very closed to the beach, and nice location if you want to hang out in Koh Phangan (near Jungle Party and OXA). The restaurant is okay, the service is a bit slow but the food is good. There is a 7-Eleven and shops nearby.

If you take the cheapest options (as we did) you'll be very suprised because you'll get only a small room with a simple bed and like 1 meter to put your stuff (just a little table). Don't expect to sleep well because the quality of the bed and the pealows is soooo bad. One of the pilow was rude as a rock (wtfff) and of course as there is no AC it's gaddamn hot in the room. You can even sleep after 10 am it's so hot. In addition, you will surely be woken up by the chickens and roosters who do not hesitate to chirp at 6 a.m. and will most likely wake you up.

The location is good , the view from the bungalows is great

Dirty , very dirty and run down. Fan was covered in greasy dust, doors and locks were beyond rusty and barely locked.
