The view from the room is fantastic and the hosts were helpful, warm and hospitable. I was travelling with elderly parents and they were sensitive to their needs. In-house dinner was creative and delicious.

Bathroom looked abit dated but it's clean and well-maintained (showerhead was good). Quite a bit of stairs to climb but host also offered alternative routes and luggage carrying service, and journey back to the room is relaxing.

The host gave us a free upgrade which had better views & lesser stairs. She was very helpful, one of us accidentally left our phone on the bus which we took to Cingjing, she immediately called the bus operator and we managed to get back our phone. She also helped to plan our route there around the attractions, i.e. when and how to get to those attractions.

EVERYTHING! Location- If you will be taking the public bus, the bus stop is quite near the homestay. The minsu (homestay) is very close to the entrance of one of the trails which will eventually lead you to the Skywalk. It is also near the 24hr 7-11, Swiss Garden and Mo's Burger. There is a slope going to the minsu so if you are carrying a heavy luggage, you might struggle a bit but don't worry, it is still.manageable. Room- Very spacious and very clean room and toilet. The bed is the most comfortable bed I slept on during my whole stay in Taiwan. The balcony will give you a very good view of the mountains! The toilet seat is also warmed and has an installed bidet system, which is rare in most of the hotels I stayed at. I even liked the body soap they provided in the toilet. I usually use my personal shower stuff but when I tried theirs, it smelled so nice and expensive 😆 Staff- the best part of the minsu is the staff, especially Ms Nita! Weeks before our arrival to Cinjing, she already messaged me to confirm my booking. I took the chance to ask about other things pertaining our trip and she happily attended to my questions and would share with me helpful links and maps. It felt like I was talking to a friend. When we met her in person, she was indeed extremely friendly and kind. She welcomed us at the door the moment she saw the van parking outside the minsu. She just made sure that our stay was comfortable and that we will still had a great time despite the gloomy weather. Which of course, we still did. 😄 Overall, she is a lovely person who would go all the way for her guests. PLUS, she upgraded our room to a bigger one for free and she allowed us to check in earlier! Breakfast- It felt like we had a feast! They prepared congee with assorted vegetarian toppings, pao, stir fried vegetables, fruits and toast! One of the kind staff told me that they provided us that much of food cause Nita is afraid that we might go hungry during our hike.

I didn't like the fact that we only stayed there for a night. :(( I wish I had more time to stay longer.

great find with wonderful Mountain View from room 102. it’s very close to bus stop to puli/Taichung and Swiss garden (restaurant Starbucks 7-11). room very clean and spacious, Lovely bath tub (had upgrade thank u) nice hearty breakfast /coffee. super easy to do many walks besides skywalk/cingjing farm but surrounding ones. most of all very friendly host/staff with advice guidance and even help me with luggage up the steep stairs and down to bus stop.

nothing just small: no shower curtain, and music from the visitor centre nearby that disrupts the peacefulness of the nature and view. price on high side but seems so in this area (& last min booking)
