Good location, still need a vehicule to get places or walk 30mn to the main street for restaurants Staff is very nice, breakfast is well cooked

Noise from roosters and dogs at night but hey you get that everywhere

David and the crew were the best part of the stay. They were very friendly, very helpful and kind. They are the reason we will for sure come and visit again. I highly recommend the place. The location is good, 10min away from the main area by scooter. You can rent the scooter from the place. The room was clean, place makes you feel you are in a more natural area. If you are seeking for a calmer place, this is the bwst choice

It was a beautiful place a little on the side from the center an all the tourists. Quiet and comfortable with a lot of nature. David, the host was amazing (his cooking skills as well!), helped us organize everything we needed without any stress or problems, it was just super easy and relaxing. There is also a small beach very near, great for snorkling and turtles. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, great space to chill on the balcony in the evenings looking at a green scenery. Amazing stay!

Loved that it was a little out of the busy main town, lots of friendly locals. Really exceptional staff, so friendly and accommodating. The place is handmade with so much creativity and traditional Filipino style, we loved it. Also the scuba diving at the secret spot, amazing!

Would love there to be a more comfortable seating option in the private hut garden.

This is a quirky little place which we enjoyed very much. David was an excellent host, he couldn't have been more helpful. My husband was very ill while we were there (nothing to do with the hotel) and he helped us to get to a doctor and showed genuine concern. There is a very small beach nearby, which he helped us to find - really amazing snorkelling right off the beach and fabulous sunsets, but we did encounter a sea snake! David said, 'Oh, that's Sheila, she's okay!' Great power bowls for breakfast with yoghurt, fruits etc, most enjoyable. We stayed in a traditional style bungalow with an outdoor bathroom which was very comfortable. It's a quiet location but there was a good restaurant within walking distance.

It was a 10 minute tuk tuk ride into town, which we didn't mind at all, but if you want to be in the heart of things this is probably not the place for you.

Superking very comfortable quality mattress and bedding. Very large room and ensuite. Hot/cold fresh water available for free in reception. 3 min walk to a quiet beach no tourists with beautiful snorkeling. Equipment available to rent at Herbs. David and staff very helpful and accommodating with good sense of humour. Quieter area away from hustle and bustle of town.

No a/c and room was very hot. 2.5- 3 km from main area with restaurants/bars/ shops so this does take 30-40 mins to walk or 200peso tuk tuk ride each way. Toilet broken and leaking (which was fixed) but still leaking after pipe repair. Would be nice to have extra storage space available in the room as clothes were mostly on the floor.
