Friendly owner, nice location, specious rooms, availability of Microwave, high chair for babies.

Unavailable amenities and facilities, such as a bathtub and hairdryer, could be clearly indicated on the website. The $30 cleaning fee, which is charged upon finalizing the reservation, could be included in the initial pricing for transparency. The towels which seemed old could be renewed. Water could be served in small bottles, either instead of or in addition to the 5-gallon water dispenser, as water in large bottles can become stale if not consumed frequently. The footsteps of the owner living upstairs could be bothersome.

Location was perfect. I was back in my hometown of New Market, VA for my 50th high school reunion and I enjoyed being close to all activities. It was convenient and comfortable.

Couldn't control the air (or heat in winter) & barking dog on property. If the guests are aware and unconcerned with both - good stay!
