USAs a historic hotel, it has a special character that newer hotels can't match. There are several places to sit back and relax, including a deck and a shared balcony. Guests are also offered free bottled water, coffee, and other light refreshments.

USUSThe history of the hotel, the thoughfulness of the anemities, the preservation of its original character, and keeping the name Hootie Creek Hotel which the proprietor told us was originally named after a Cookie, so he kept the name because "how could you improve on that!?" He was a joy to meet and talk with.
It needed a trash can in the room itself, rather than just the bathroom. It also needs Hootie Creek Cookies for sale!! The original blueberry version and the adapted cranberry. I would have left with 2 dozen!!
