Pension Stejeris

This is a cute little pension up on a hill from downtown Brasov (it’s a bit of a steep walk up and down but good exercise, or you just take the car or transport:-) The owner is very friendly and chatty, he can give you useful tips. The room was quiet and comfortable.

Breakfast was very good and individually prepared by the owner, just maybe there could be more “filling material”, like bread&butter.

The hosts are wonderful people who like to help and are happy to give tips and information. Highly recommended!

Wonderful friendly, warm, and welcoming people and a wonderful breakfast. I will definitely book again.

Overall I would rate our stay as pretty good. The owners were very friendly and welcoming people. They welcomed us with some wine and local cuisine. Also, they asked what we don't like or don't eat (like allergies) so they will consider it for breakfast (and so they did in the end). When we left, they gave us some recommendations for places to visit (that were along our route) but also to drive carefully as the road ahead of us had great curves and an icy surface. The breakfast was really good. The portions were reasonable in size, but great in taste.

Our room was next to the reception, and sometimes you can hear noise people coming/going, or talking at the reception. This was not a big problem for us as we were there for few nights and away during the whole day and in only for sleeping, but would be nice to consider it, especially for a longer stay. The place is on a hill, and going down walking to the city center you need like 10 minutes, but going back up you will need like 30 minutes.
