Guest House Firuza

A staff was super kind and made our stay in Samarkand perfect! We arrived very late at night in Smarkand train station but the staff himself came to pick us up with a taxi driver which made us feel very safe. Breakfast was very pretty and delicious. He recommended good restaurants and was very nice place(turned out “must-visit” in Smarkand ). I will definitely stay this place again.

Nothing. Notifications, the google map might show slightly different place from where actually it is, so look around carefully when you go there for the first time.

Our stay here was outstanding. Great location in an old neighbourhood close to main sights, easily reached on foot. Abundant and tasty breakfasts served on traditional dishes, traditional table in a nice patio, tea being offered at any time of the day. But the best of all are the owners - very helpful, attentive people. They went for us to the airport, accompanied us around the city to visit the sights at the ouskirts. Since it was our first trip to Uzbekistan, owner´s son Anvar helped us a lot on how to move there (SIM card, app for the taxi, buying at bazaars...). Incredibly nice and friendly people, one of the best we met during our entire trip!

The host is terrific - will treat you like family.

Facilities could be better, so does the breakfast.

there was a blackout by the govt. so no electric for 2-3hrs during my stay

It was a pleasure to stay at Guest House Firuza. It was very lovely that the hotel owner surprised me at the train station to welcome me. Thank you so much. Their son speaks very well English and is very helpful. They were always asking me if I wanted tea or coffee. One night they served me lots of fruits. Their breakfast was also very good and had many options! The location is great, about 12 min on foot from the Registan square. The area is old town like, with many old small houses, very quiet, mostly residential. Internet worked perfectly. There were many amenities such as towels, shampoo, shower gel. It was also very nice of them to let me stay before my train at 4 Pm. I can recommend to everyone to get the real feel for Uzbek hospitality culture.
