Un séjour superbe. Un environnement exceptionnel. N’hésitez pas, Jean est un hôte formidable et très attachant. La chambre était spacieuse et très fonctionnelle. Le jardin est magnifique. Vous participerez également, par votre séjour, au fonctionnement de l’orphelinat.

Het had misschien nog iets schoner gekund in de douche en toilet, verder de kamer en bedden wel gewoon lekker schoon

Spacious house situated in a beautiful garden. Peaceful and quiet. Very nice host and great hospitality. Short taxi ride to the main entrance to the citadel( approx 4 dollar). A nice contradiction to the busy city life.

We had some issues regarding communication with the Homestay prior to arriving. Subsequently, I found out it is closed for a month during May. However, the owner, Jean, very kindly opened up 1 room, which he cleaned and set up for us to use. On both mornings, Jean prepared a wonderful local breakfast dish with a ton of fruit, yoghurt, fresh fruit juice, and lashings of coffee. His wife usually is the one who deals with the guests, but in her absence, we got by by speaking our common language - Spanish! He helped us enormously with tips and advice on things to do/see and how to get about. The site is connected to an Orphanage which Jean runs with love and devotion We bought some pens, paper, colouring pencils, rubbers, sharpeners and some modelling clay for the kids as a small contribution to the home. Thanks.

Booking.com's insistence we go to the accommodation even though we were unable to communicate with them as were they. We arrived to find the place in darkness but managed to find the owner.

We loved our stay at Tam Tinh Vien Homestay! Jean and Thuy are amazing people and adopted many local children through the years which the accommodation helps to support. Jean took the time to show us around and explain everything to us which was so inspiring. The homestay is located along the river and has everything you need in a peaceful environment. The kids are so nice and we also had an amazing Bún Bò Huê' for breakfast which was delicious :) I highly recommend staying there I will definitely come back there and stay longer on my next trip to Vietnam :)

Stay at this homestay. This has to be one of the most beautiful and wonderful stays I've had in Vietnam, if not the best. Everything was beyond brilliant with thoughtful touches, delicious meals (provided) and great hosts. It's not only an incredibly important social initiative with it being an orphanage that uses proceeds from the bookings for the benefit of the kids but also just a lovely area/accommodation. Easy to get into town with enough restaurants/sights to see close by too.
