Life's A Beach

Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Wir wurden vom Grab irgendwo im nirgendwo ausgesetzt und haben verzweifelt im Hotel angerufen. Daraufhin wurden wir kurzerhand abgeholt ❤️. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Die Atmosphäre ist locker und gechillt, die Gegend traumhaft.

Man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass es schon etwas ab vom Schuss ist. Aber man kann einen Roller mieten und hat den Stadtstress nicht.

The location and the atmosphere are great.

It is located in a prime location facing the sea. I did not expect the sea to be the source of noise to tamper my rest. At night the fishermen turn on diesel generators at sea to power up some light for their traps. It is very noise, mainly in a tent. It was very hard for me to rest. This is something to be aware off, not in control of the hostel.

Die Aussicht auf das Meer war sehr schön von unserem Bungalow zu sehen. Außerdem gab es am Abend immer ein gemeinsames Essen mit lustigen Spielen danach. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Wir konnten die Unterkunft nur mit einem Taxi erreichen da es weit außerhalb der Stadt war. Außerdem war der nächstgelegene Strand zum schwimmen 20min zu Fuß über die Hauptstraße entfernt.

It was a perfect stay! This is a great place to relax and contemplate your life! There is a mix of guests: backpackers, families and non-backpackers.

It is true the drains smell, but it’s not quite as bad as I thought it would be based on reviews. You are a bit isolated (which was fine for us), but that means there are no restaurants nearby you can go to. Yes the food is a bit overpriced, but it’s ok. I would avoid the pizzas, but the French fries and breakfast muffin with sausage and egg were great.

Everything. On the sea, lovely people, amazing local beaches 10 minutes walk away. Not inside the town bustle, for a perfect time to relax. The staff in the evening had us all playing games and were super nice and fun

Because it’s remote you have to eat there. It’s hard to catch a grab there, so make sure you book your taxi enough time ahead if you have a bus or train to catch. It was MADLY expensive because of Tet holiday, the most i’ve payed for a taxi in Vietnam, 600,000 for a 30 minute ride to the train station. I thought an hour and a half would be enough time to take spare, but the taxi took 40 minutes to arrive (instead of 20 as they said) and I jumped on my train at the actual last minute possible. Stressful, better to book much in advance and know it will be expensive

The family supper was so much fun. Great food and a chance to meet other travelers in a relaxed environment. Our bungalow was very rustic with non interrupted views of the sea. The bar area is great with pool table and table tennis. The burger I had was the best I’ve had in Vietnam. The staff were really helpful, going that extra mile to try and sort out our bus for the next day.

There isn’t actually a beach though perhaps you could swim from the rocks.
