Dos Angeles del Mar Bed and Breakfast

El lugar estaba cómodo y agradable.

No me agradó la insistencia del dueño por entrar a la habitación para hacer house keeping. Apenas había llegado la noche antes. Pero, respeto sus reglas.

Awesome breakfast.

Location, parking, staff, comfort.

Loud air conditioner. But it does work.

We would stay here again when in Rincon! The owner is friendly and so accommodating. Our room was roomy, enjoyed the balcony, . We didn’t use the pool but looked inviting. A few minutes drive to several restaurants. Breakfast- Fruit, yogurt, pastries, breakfast sandwich- nice variety .

Breakfast was excellent with yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, pastry, and a hot bagel or croissant sandwich with cheese, ham or plain. The pool was lovely and clean. The host, John, was fabulous: kind, helpful, responsive, and great to talk to. The location was quiet except for the occasional barking dog and of course, the cochi frogs! We had a balcony overlooking the back yard and could see the water. Very nice!

The location was both beautiful but on a steep hill making it difficult to walk to any nearby restaurants or beach. In our younger days we could have walked: 5 minutes down and an hour back up! Also, the air conditioners were loud but gave a bit of white noise if you like that. I did not see any hair dryers that were supposed to be in each room.

John's place is simply outstanding. One never knows what you're going to encounter when you book accommodations in a place you haven't been before. But this has been one of those rare treats when what I found completely surpassed my expectations. From John's friendly, welcoming, and kind manner to the gorgeous, tranquil, and calm oasis he has built at Dos Angeles del Mar over the 25 years he has been operating it, every aspect has been outstanding. Proximity to some of the most beautiful beaches (e.g., Playa Dona Lala) and delicious restaurants (e.g., Tamboo, Shipwreck, etc.) was awesome! When we left after three days here, we told John we would be back. Little did we know it would be so soon! When our return flight out of SJU was delayed due to military operations in Venezuela, I couldn't wait to see if John had a vacancy. He did, and we couldn't wait to get back to Rincón and John's place. And I'll say it again, we'll be back!!!

I can't think of a thing I didn't like.
