We had a wonderful stay. We arrived late in the evening (after 11pm) but the host Luis was already waiting outside. We felt very welcome. We got a nice explanation, the house was beautiful, the room very spacious and a large separate private bathroom. The breakfast was great, all is present, fresh home made jams, every day home made cake, fruit, yoghurt etc…. The hosts Luis and Florbela are so nice, they arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport at 4 am, they gave us very good recommendations for restaurants, visits, …. and were always in service of the people staying with them. The island is so beautiful. We can highly recommend Casa da Flor. ❤️

The room was big and clean, the house is very nice and the position is strategic to visit the whole island being in the middle of it. Luiz was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips for our visit.

The gracious hosts for their warm hospitality and the love for their island. Every morning, they suggested where we could drive to and see that day dependent on the weather. There was an extensive booklet of recommendations prepared in our room. Everything got checked off my wish list! We appreciated the variety at breakfasts and use of the guest fridge. Our bedroom had plenty of shelves and closet space for a long term stay. We could park out front. Location was ideal for what we wanted to see and more unexpected surprises!

The one way streets were hard to catch onto in town, even with GPS. And it was hard for us to find restaurants and even grocery open in the evenings. But the new highways and the roads closer to the water were pure splendor. I would have liked a tv in the room but understandable, being that it might bother other guests.

We loved our stay at Casa da Flor. The room was very clean and the bathroom looked brand new! Breakfast every morning was great and we enjoyed chatting with other guests. The location is great to explore all areas of the island. We were always able to find parking on the street and loved the quiet atmosphere of the city.

The host was super nice, helping, giving lots of tips and tricks to do. The rooms are also very good

If you intent only to sleep and leave early in the morning the rooms are perfectly ok. But if you want to wake a bit more late or take a nap thru the day, i would not recommend the room, because there are very annoying neighbour dogs barking all day thru.

Awesome stay. I fully recommend. The house is very clean and comfortable and the hosts are extremely nice and forthcoming. The house is centrally located and within easy reach by car of any other point in the island. The ideal location to explore the island. Thank you Luis and Florbela for making our stay a memorable one!!!

very nice house. very clean. cozy bed. lovely breakfast. extremely friendly hosts. quiet neighborhood. I had everything I needed.

Grace was fantastic, street parking was always available, room was very clean & breakfast was amazing
