Gast House

The whole place is an apartment with 2 bedrooms (each with a private balcony), 1 shared bathroom and a small common space with a kitchen. We had the top room. It was charming, pretty clean and the rooftop balcony was nice.

You have to climb two very narrow sets of stairs, the first to get to the apartment and the second to get to the upstairs room. The shared bathroom is right next to the other room, which was awkward for us, and our room was above the kitchen which was a little weird when the other guests cooked. We didn't mind the noise though (but it is loud until veryyy late).

Great location. Very private. Comfortable with good facilities. Very friendly and responsive host.

Plug sockets loose and exposed electrical wiring above the shower could do with being looked at. All still works though.

Gast house is very much in a central location close to the main bus and train station. Great for restaurants, shops and the old town. The accommodation was very homely with a small but functional kitchen and a shared restroom. The first floor room was small but adequate with a balcony that meant we could sit out. Aircon and tv were good. It was great for four nights and having access to everything was useful. Self check-in was easy.

Nothing, there were a couple of other rooms occupied but it wasn't a problem..

The apartment was in a great location, very very clean with inviting decor. The balcony was such a bonus and it was a very pleasant stay. Very good value for what we paid. The host was nice and gave us lots of tips for the town of Faro!
