Almada Villa

We loved EVERYTHING! Location is excellent and close to amenities (a few local restaurants and a small grocery store). The Ferry to Lisboa was only a 15 min walk away and the walk to the Ferry through Almada is quite lovely. The host, Karina, was incredible friendly and responsive! The kitchen facilities came in handy - we appreciated that they had some bowls, glasses, and a wine bottle opener. We had a friend pick us up and took us to Costa de Caparica beach which was only a 15 min drive away. We hope to come back to this Villa again sometime soon! It was a highlight of our visit!

Everything was excellent. The only possible improvement we would have appreciated would be a TV in the bedroom, however the TV seating area in our suite was also very lovely.

One of the best accomondations we ever have found! Beautifull spacy rooms in an old villa,which was totally renovated with good taste and appreciating the athmosphere of an old villa. We had spacious bedroom, livingroom and a bathroom with french balcony on second floor of the villa. We could also use a beautifull, well equipped kitchen, which is comman with other rooms in the villa. We also enjoyed a lot of the wonderfull large yard where you could have your breakfast. This villa had also excellent location: a short walk (1,2 km) to boat terminal - and then only 8-9 minutes with ferry and you were in the heart of Lissabon! We also loved the neighborhood of the villa - ordinary small town quarters with normal everyday life around you! It was a pleasure everyday, after the crowded centre of Lissabon, to come back home to Almada Villa. After this experience it's clear that when visting Lissabon again we will stay at this wonderfull villa!

It is possible that the soundinsulation is not so very good in the house. The beautifull windows doesn'nt keep noices from the street so well away... However, this detail didn't disturb us, we enjoyed all our six nights in the villa!
