Attention to detail. Darling coffee and tea set up, extra blankets in the closet, the bathroom light didn't turn off while I was showering or using the toilet like in so many other bathrooms in Portugal and the shower was hot.

We did not expect the parking to be so difficult and the signage unclear. Two local older men teased us as we tried to find a legit place to park calling us "rappas" which means, I later found out, outsiders who don't belong. And they were right. But it wasn't welcoming nor did they point us in the right direction. And of course, this had nothing to do with the lodging accommodations, its just a warning that you should plan out your parking ahead of time.
