Pensiunea Tara

Perfect location for visiting the Bran Castle and other turistic places, but also right near the national park and it's trails. Very pet friendly, great for our quite big shepherd dog. Very nice and accomodating owner. We had car troubles and got there a day later (unfortunately...) and she didn't have us pay for the night even though our booking conditions were such that we should have paid for all the nights! Would definitely book again if in the area!

There are old wooden floors and they can be loud - we didn't really care, but some people might.

Cozy, clean and friendly, amazing view and access to park trail

The place was spotless and surrounded by stunning landscapes. Pets really are welcome; there are bags and rules to accommodate 4 legged travelers and guests alike, which we loved. I really like the common area concept. It was nice having dinner and chatting with other people about their stay. The yard is also lovely and well-equipped. So is the kitchen.

The indoor temperature. We were unlucky and got bad weather + didn't have the best clothes and the temperature indoors is kept at around 19 degrees, This combination was not great for us. We wish electric heaters were available at the location and would have been willing to pay extra for that, The shower needs a bit of improvement as well - with the current system for us it was hard to keep the water from reaching every inch of the bathroom.

First of all it's a PET FRIENDLY location, suitable for dog owners or dog lovers. Dogs are allowed all over the place, both inside and outside. So if you don't like dogs or your kid is scared of them, I strongly suggest other places around. Close to the forest.
