The Wild Fig

I liked pretty much everything, could not think of something to dislike. I ordered breakfast every day, and Dalene ensured that it was different each time. Which was appreciated. Lucy was just so friendly and always had a beaming smile. The gardens are spacious, lush and give the feeling of tranquility.

The only negative in the whole stay was when settling up my breakfast bill, I was under the assumption I was paying one amount, and the bill came out slightly higher. Upon querying the bill was rectified although I was willing to pay the extra. Could be that I misunderstood the fee. Nothing serious and certainly would not stop me staying there again.

Grateful to our hosts who stayed up late to accommodate our late arrival. We were held up on site and they were very understanding. Rooms spacious and clean. Everything you need for a home away from home in Cape Town.

Overall it felt like I'd arrived in heaven,super quiet birds singing,absolutely incredible trees,animals and sunshine streaming in the morning.Accomadating host,great bed,two small meals and filter coffee.One need not leave the place,wonderful!

We received a warm welcome. The garden flat was very clean, tastefully decorated and had more than what needed. There is even a washing machine. It was extremely comfortable and cosy. I loved it
