Collett House and Lavender Cottage

I was very unhappy the room had an unpleasant smell, we had a cot even though we hadn’t requested one. The host was not aware of our booking and didn’t know how long we were going to stay. The shower was right next to the toilet you could shower while having a wee in toilet. The smell was unbearable the kids asked to leaver immediately.

The stench of a dirty diaper and milk that’d hone off.

The shower… water leaked all over the floor

Its very specious and excellent if you have to do your office work. Not forgetting the home made vintage furniture was sticking out for me.

Mirror in the bathroom was too high. But overall am happy

this place is in the perfect location. It is worth price. They have a beautiful garden. It is close to the Golden Gate Park and very close to town.

The kettle was in such a state that we couldn't even use it, filthy and full of ants. We ended up bioling water on the stove. The basin in the bathroom was loose standing and dangerous. To make things worse, we had to bathe out of the basin due to no warm water in the shower. And the beds were uncomfortable as hell. I will not recommend this place to anyone as this was the worst experience ever in clarens. This was the first and the last that they will see me. No scenery from the front, very disappointing.
