Secure and secluded, this property is beside a river, so waking to Birdsong every day is a delight. The doggo is very friendly and chill.

It was very cold and the heater was not working. The towels were dirty, the room was dirty overall. I feel like it's not worth the pricing. I was also accused of breaking the side bed lamp, of which i confirmed everything was in order before I left, I think whoever came in to clean broke the lamp and put the blame on the visitors. Totally disappointed. They have a large dog in the yard, if you're not a dog person then you'll even be scared to go outside. It was even challenging to collect Uber orders as the dog is on guard when it gets dark. overall, it was a horrible experience. The pool was not in a swimmable state.

It's was a beautiful clean place

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel right at home. The accommodation was immaculately clean and well maintained, which immediately put us at ease. Also, we visited the place in winter and the host had organised a gas heater for us which was very thoughtful of her.

While our stay was overall great, it's worth noting those who, like me, prefer not to be around pets, that there is a dog on the property. They were however, willing to keep the dog inside upon request.

We experienced a wonderful warm pleasant welcome form our hosts. We loved the fact that we had our own set of keys, this made it so much easier to come and go as we pleased. The setting of the cottage was lovely, calm and relaxing. Load shedding was no problem at all as we were very blessed to have an inverter onsite that we were able to use. Definitely worth the money.

The owner was very friendly and is a great host. Clean and lovely property for a perfect weekend retreat. Wouldn't mind to go back. I highly recommend the place
