Old Potters Inn

The staff seemed nice, even if they were busy with the restaurant below. The location is great on the main road. The pool is great.

The facilities are not up to scratch. The ceiling fan was broken and extremely loud. Almost as if there were a few screws rolling around. The rooms are boiling and even though I tried to sleep without the fan, it was not possible. It wasn't possible properly sleeping with the fan either. I may have slept on and off for 3 hours the whole night. Needless to say, I was extremely angry in the morning. These things should be checked. There is no reception and since I found this issue too late, nothing could be done about it. Windows did not open properly either, but that did. It bother me anyway. There is also no service to store your luggage, at least not when I asked. Check out is early at 10am, and I had to carry my backpack after this. I really do hope they sort out these issues. It will be a great place otherwise.

Loved the little chalet with pretty garden at our entrance. The pool area was lush and relaxing and the bar had a great bar with a very welcoming and engaging bar lady.

It was exceptionally hot and although there was a fan in the bedroom it was very noisy to sleep under. A small fan downstairs would have been great for the day. But this was a minor problem.
