Tintagel Guest House

Well appointed authentic Cape Victorian style establishment in the heart of Cape Town and close to its active and lively Kloof Street hub. Discerning guests would appreciate the characterful establishment. Safe off street parking was available and I really enjoyed the good linen and comfortable bed in a comfortable bedroom. Double glazing windows kept any road noise to a bare minimum. The manager/owner excelled in making the check in personal and easy. He was insistent about security and willing to assist with whatever I needed. I unfortunately had to leave very early and skipped breakfast so no review on that. It is certainly worth a visit and I will definitely return if and when a visit to Cape Town is required

As a solo guest I missed a TV in the room The windows only had sun filter curtains and the street lighting was a nuisance at night - block out curtains would be nice. Minor issues with the shower head and some loose tiles/ grouting would require looking into A bar fridge for cold water could also make things somewhat more comfortable.

Der sehr persönliche und emphatische Empfang, jeder Wunsch wird einem von den Lippen abgelesen und sofort erfüllt, man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt vor dem Tafelberg, nahe zu allen Highlights von Kapstadt wie Waterfront, etc. Dazu sehr sicher.

Fantastic accommodation, very close to all amenities staff and owners absolutely amazing very helpful, the breakfast was absolutely amazing and fresh tasty delicious what can I say, we will definitely go back again!

All of it. Warm and hospitable host. Organised trips for us. Made us feel at ease and at home as guests rather than clients. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful spacious room with Bea antique furniture throughout the house. Excellent breakfast, especially the bacon! Utah (apologies if we’ve misspelt this), was a a delight. We will recommend to all
