ELMED GUEST HOUSE

There was nothing I liked about the property as I was unable to stay there even though I had a booking and paid for it.

On arrival at the guest house after receiving confirmation of the booking and having paid, they did not allow me to enter the property. I had to make numerous phone calls just to get someone from the property on the phone, only to be told that they are fully booked and did not have space for me. They were very rude and unhelpful over the phone. They claimed that they never received my booking nor payment from booking.com. They also did not want to accept the cancellation request of my booking after this online so that I can try stay somewhere else. It has been 3 weeks and they still refuse to help or give me a refund for the night. Please be very careful before booking here.

The Wi-Fi was good I managed to work remotely. Very convenient with parking. A lovely and friendly lady (host). The place was clean. I enjoyed my stay. The host will respect your privacy. I loved the place.

Small gem in Cape Town, Mimi is a lovely hostess, very engaging. Very clean. Bedding, towels (soft and luxurious), shower, accommodation, spotless! A few utensils missing from the kitchen, but just ask the hostess and she'll do her level best. One thing to consider, for the hostess, perhaps install aircons? While there were fans in the rooms, it was not enuf during the extreme hot weather we experience in our summer days in Cape Town. Overall, lovely to have met you Mimi, and thank you for your kind approach to our requests whilst there. Well definitely return for another visit. Blessings from the Oates family. 😊
