"Comfortable and sufficient for an overnight stay."

Beds had electric blankets. Nice selection of tea, coffee etc in communal kitchen. Rooms were clean. Host was friendly and welcoming.

No hot water in one of the bathrooms. No photos of outside of the house & garden on the website.

"Where not to stay"

We did not stay in Hanover at the Ash Tree Guesthouse. We ended up staying in Richmond.

The place was not as advertised. The town itself was filthy. The buildings were run down and dilapidated. My only recommendation would be to remove this site from Booking.com. I feel like I've been scammed.
