Slaley Country House

All was good

Kim made us feel immediately welcome upon arrival. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked and the ensuite was of a good size. The property's swimming pool was large and refreshing during the very hot weather. The breakfast was large and more than we could eat.

The carpet in the bedroom was very worn with a large stain beside the bed. The air freshener was so overwhelmingly strong, I had to immediately put it outside. I felt the breakfast was rather heavy on bagels and muffins!

Had to go under counter to attach plugs for hairdryer and phones .

We loved the nature, it was peaceful and beautiful nestled at the bottom of the mountains. We could spend all night sitting on the patio soaking in the surroundings. The staff were lovely. You can see they take pride in their work. The room was large and very comfortable. They put in special effort as it was our anniversary weekend. Breakfast was delightful. The location is perfect for hiking and visiting wine estates (5mins away).
