"Excellent stay to learn about the local Xhosa culture. Scenic beaches and location"

Excellent location. A must see for those that haven't visited the wild coast. Totally scenic.

Road to coffee bay is very bad. 20km/hr speed for 40km due to potholes. Be careful if you are travelling with a car. 4x4 is much better.

The location is perfect for its wonderful views (although the last 30 km road is very bad to get to). They were always very attentive to our arrival and the instructions were very clear

There were some bugs in the bathroom and the bed cover smelled musty

"I was miserable there."

asbestos roofing without ceiling. No water for from 8:30-16:00 daily, and apparently for the past 7 weeks, but owner doesn’t declare until the day of arrival. Not forgetting cold showers.

We were not informed that there was no water. The place was not clean, at all. It was the worst stay ever in my life. Durty bedding, no flushing toilets, we could not shower.

Amazing location. Don’t be daunted by the pothole filled road that leads up to coffee bay! This amazing little lodge had the most beautiful view and location and the food and staff were top notch. Would definitely stay again
