Featherwood Farm & Nyala Lodge

This is a very well contained property for a super quiet break away. Well fenced for kids to have freedom. Lots of shade and grass for kids to play.

At the time of our stay, there was construction on the road but this will just make the experience better once the construction is complete.

Beautiful gardens. Quiet.

The roadworks in front of the place was a bit disturbing, but that will pass.

Excellent location away from city buzz. Solid good quality furniture, linen, luxury blankets & a well equipped kitchen. Lovely all in all.

There was no hot water from the taps in the kitchen & bath water was look-warm. I wish there were electric blankets in the beds for winter. The house is big & tiled, it's inevitable that the bedrooms will be cold. Instructions on how to use the stove on the wall would be a huge help - It took a while to figure out. Very frustrating when all you want is to make a cup of coffee after a long drive especially since there is no electric kettle.
