The owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing.

De wagens zijn prachtig ingericht en hebben wen heerlijk bed, je moet wel een beetje lenig zijn om er in te komen.

Wij hadden pech dat er een stroomstoring was,hierdoor konden we de buitendouche en kacheltje in de wagen niet gebruiken. We waren er in juli en het vroor 's nachts,.

For about 24 years, we have been visiting Clarens annually. One of our best experiences was at Gypsy Guesthouse. The friendly reception, neat colourful and well-equipped rooms, and owners (Shane) who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. When we had to leave earlier due to illness and our teenagers wanted to stay longer, an extra free day was offered out of empathy for them. We will certainly want the privilege of staying at Gypsy Guesthouse again; we can recommend it with confidence.

The entrance (gate) very dark (light can help)

Friendly staff, nice place. With our sport vehicles the small dirt road is not so nice. In future we will rather use a bakkie or SUV

The few hundred meters to the place is not fit for small vehicles.

Shane kept in touch all the time. Gave us great information of everything there is to do in the area. Every day they loaded the basket with wood to light the fire. The staff were amazing. The room was very comfortable and the whole place is beautifully decorated. Will definitely be back!
