Wooden Cabin Kamna Gorica

Super idyllisch, alles da was man braucht

My stay at the Wooden Cabins was overall delightful. I enjoyed spending time surrounded by the farm animals, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful at all times. The kitchen was clean and had all the appliances necessary for breakfast/dinner. Toilets and showers were also clean. There are plenty of activities to do in Kamna Gorica, including hiking to Ojstra Pec or Zjavka for amazing views of the town or the surrounding mountains, or going for a bath in the Sava River. Appreciated the staff left fresh eggs from their chickens for tourists to help themselves with.

Bear in mind the town does not have any supermarkets, so come prepared with provisions. I arrived late, and the only available option to eat was the eggs from the farm's chickens, but that's totally my fault. Perhaps the place could provide some additional food options for clueless travellers like me. If you're coming by public transport, DO NOT take the path from Globoko train station to Kamna Gorica. It is mostly inaccessible due to fallen trees and mud throughout the path, and it is really hard to access with backpacks or suitcases. The best way to arrive there is by bus straight to the town, but plan your journey in advance, as the bus only arrives in Kamna Gorica at certain (and few) hours, with no times in the evening.

De vriendelijke gastvrouwen en gastheer!! De rust en ligging is geweldig. Het leuke kleine dorpje ernaast. Kortom een geweldige locatie . Ik kom zeker terug

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Waren auf Durchreise und konnten richtig gut entspannen. So nah mit der Natur ist man selten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Werden uns bestimmt wiedersehen.
