Pensiunea Sonnenhof

My family and I stayed at Pensiunea Sonnenhof for one night, booking three rooms. The accommodations were clean, spacious, and met our needs perfectly for a short stay. The bathrooms were also well-maintained and generously sized. A detail worth noting: the queen-size beds are actually two twin mattresses placed side by side, leaving a gap in between. This was clearly mentioned in the booking information and photos, so we were prepared. Also, while the rooms didn’t have refrigerators, we didn’t require one during our visit. The main drawback was the lack of soundproofing. We could easily hear other guests walking in the rooms above or using their bathrooms. One of our rooms was located directly above the restaurant kitchen, and the morning activity was quite audible, which could be disruptive for light sleepers. On the bright side, the outdoor surroundings are absolutely breathtaking—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for relaxation. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and we especially enjoyed their house-made wine and beer. Overall Impression: Our one-night stay was pleasant and memorable thanks to the beautiful landscape and good food. However, for those planning a longer visit or sensitive to noise, the acoustic issues might be something to consider.

Perfect place to rest. Quiet and peaceful place. Very hospitable and friendly owners. Huge dinner portions and excellent wine.

Wonderful place, all green around, very nice dining area and very friendly staff, very helpful and attentive. Very good breakfast.
